Feel the ground rumble. From far and wide, they approach. The herds of tech addicts charging forward with their smartphones held high. Vans fueled with spent cooking grease carrying sleep-deprived filmmakers into the city limits. The endless line of tour buses filled with worn-out roadies and blissed-out bandmates. SXSW 2012 is upon us.

It’s been a year since we last put ourselves through the gauntlet that is SXSW, but the need for preparation hasn’t changed. So we’ve created SXSurvival.com as a resource for everyone who plans to make Austin their temporary stomping ground in March. We’ve been around since the very first SXSW so we’ve got experienced SXSWesterners (that’s a thing, right?) to offer expert advice on how to have the best time, and more of their smartnuggets (also a thing, okay?) will continue to roll out as we approach the festival.
