Comprised of guitarist Andrew Trube and keyboardist Anthony Farrell, the Greyhounds have been singing and writing songs together since 1999. With a sound that’s been described as “Hall & Oates meets ZZ TOP” the Austin-based duo has strong ties to Texas (Trube is from Tyler, Texas) as well as Memphis (their label, Ardent Records, is based there). They shared their one-of-a-kind, blended musical style with us this summer as they rocked out on GSD&M’s back deck.
