The culinary geniuses at La Condesa have been keeping us full of delicious Mexican food and drinks for a while. And now with their newest creation, Sway, they’re just showing off.

Whether you’re grabbing a torta or taco for lunch or something even more substantial for dinner, any time is the right time for a meal at La Condesa. But we think this spot shines brightest right around happy hour. Thecocktails are stellar, from the Margarita La Clásica with fresh lime juice and agave nectar, to the eye-opening Pisco Sour with nutmeg bitters, to the delicious liquid silk that is the Watermelon-Elderflower Martini. A drink, a salsa sampler, and a big ear of Mexican street corn makes for the happiest of hours.
Sway
A modern Thai restaurant was probably not what anyone was expecting when the folks at La Condesa announced their next venture, but boy are we happy about it now. Sway has garnered a loyal following and first-rate reputation, and it’s only been open for a few months. The property isbeautiful, with the kitchen in full view and a dining room you’ll want to live in. And, oh sweet mama, the food. For lunch, try the Nashi Pear Chicken stir fry, with Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. Then go for the Jungle Curry, with Texas wagyu beef, eggplant, and coconut cream. And don’t stop there- order the Son In Law, braised pork shoulder served with thick soy and a crispy farm egg. Then head home to recharge because we’re coming back for dinner.
