AUSTIN, TX—November 5, 2014—GSD&M announced today that Shannon Moorman has joined the company as VP/talent acquisition. In this role, she will be responsible for university partnerships, recruitment branding and identifying key talent across all departments. Shannon comes to GSD&M from R/GA, where she was a founding member of the Austin office and held the title of global recruitment director. She has over 17 years of experience in talent acquisition.

Moorman’s accomplishments at R/GA included creating a new model for the agency’s recruiting and resource management groups and building a team of 15 recruiters across 13 offices worldwide to support the agency’s rapid growth. Additionally, she contributed to R/GA’s global expansion and established its university/community partnerships and intern program worldwide. Prior to working at R/GA, Shannon held positions at Aquent New York and with several early-stage startups in Austin.
