AUSTIN, TX — January 19, 2011 — GSD&M Idea City today named Jeanne Crockett as senior vice president and director of client service. With strong account service and digital experience, Crockett will be responsible for building and maintaining productive and lasting relationships with client partners and the agency’s Account Service group in addition to broadening the department’s cross-functional knowledge and digital capabilities.
Crockett joined the agency in 2006 and previously served as the agency’s vice president of digital strategy – a title she will retain – where she developed creative and cross-channel integrated campaigns for the agency and its clients.
“In our search to find someone to lead our account service department, we were looking for a person with leadership and cross-disciplinary skills,” said Duff Stewart, president and CEO of GSD&M Idea City. “Jeanne has those traits along with a commitment to building digital expertise within the department to ensure we are providing the best options for our clients.”
Prior to GSD&M, Crockett served as director of client service at Organic, Inc. and held senior account supervisor positions at Mullen and Kolon, Bittker & Desmond. Her other experience includes working as marketing and corporate communications manager at Chateau Properties, Inc., marketing development manager at Fireman’s Fund Mortgage and art director and production assistant at Young & Rubicam.
Crockett received her B.F.A. in art direction from the College of Creative Studies and serves as a board member of the I.J. and Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center.
