As a natural extension of previous mobile efforts, the Air Force and its advertising partner, GSD&M today launched the app “Make It Fly”, which is geared towards the Air Force’s “tech tinkerer” audience. The app will help to reinforce the Air Force’s connection and emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Users will be able to solve nine scenarios connected to Air Force’s mission of global vigilance, reach and power. The app uses STEM logic to provide smart feedback that helps users with their mission progression.
The app is available on iOS platforms initially. Users can download it from the new mobile site or AIRFORCE.COM, as well as the iTunes market: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/usaf-make-it-fly/id476066922?ls=1&mt=8.
An Android version will be available before the end of the year.
