AUSTIN, Texas — November 22, 2011 — GSD&M today announced the hire of Jocelyn Lai to the agency as talent acquisition manager. In this role, Lai will manage the agency’s recruiting efforts across all departments.

“Jocelyn is a great addition to our team because of her previous agency and brand experience and desire to recruit top talent,” said Duff Stewart, president and CEO of GSD&M. “We are always making sure the agency has the right people to include bringing on Jocelyn.”

Prior to joining GSD&M, Lai was a content strategist in the new business department as well as a recruiter at T3 in Austin. In her role as a recruiter, she worked with, interviewed and hired hundreds of professionals, ranging from interns to SVPs.

Lai’s other work experience includes digital, strategy and media planning and buying positions at J.C. Penney, Starcom MediaVest Group and LatinWorks Marketing. She received her B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and completes her M.A. in Advertising this December.
