Marianne Newton and Sara Cherry Join GSD&M as Executive Producers

~ Marianne will be concentrating efforts on the Southwest Airlines account ~

~ Sara will be leading production on the Walgreens account ~

AUSTIN, TX – December 5, 2014 – GSD&M announced today that Marianne Newton and Sara Cherry have joined the agency as executive producers. Marianne will lead production efforts on the agency’s Southwest Airlines account. Sara will lead all production efforts on the agency’s Walgreens account.

“Marianne and Sara are experienced and talented producers. Marianne’s expertise and creative style will be instrumental in capturing the spirit of the Southwest Airlines brand in upcoming campaigns,” said Jack Epsteen, SVP/ director of production for GSD&M. “Sara has been working with our Walgreens team for some time as a freelance producer, and we’re happy to have her leading production efforts on the account full time.”

Newton comes to GSD&M from mcgarrybowen in Chicago where she led production efforts on several accounts including McDonald’s, Anheuser-Busch and Capital One. Her agency experience also includes DDB, The Focus Agency and Bozell (formerly Bozell & Jacobs).

Prior to joining GSD&M, Cherry worked as the head of production at Fahlgren Martin and has worked on brands including Honda Power Equipment, NAPA Auto Parts, Southern Company, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Her agency experience also includes time at Burton Campbell.
