New Work: Walgreens “First Timers”

To kick off the new year, Walgreens and its advertising partner, GSD&M, are launching the next chapter of its brand innovation story, highlighting conveniences for customers that help them get, stay and live well.

In the campaign “At the Corner of Happy and Healthy,” Walgreens is focusing on the future of the brand while highlighting its long history of innovations that have changed the category. TV, digital and radio work will feature the benefits of the Walgreens app to include the ability to refill prescriptions by scanning a barcode, print photos right from your phone via QuickPrints, 24/7 pharmacy chat and curbside pickup of items featured on Walgreens.com. Walgreens is also making its pharmacists more available in-store and online for its customers.

The campaign will run through March on high-profile network and cable TV programming as well as online sites like AOL and Yahoo, among many others.
