MediaPost: GSD&M Scoops Up Blue Bunny Media Account

GSD&M was named media agency of record for Blue Bunny, owned by Wells Enterprises Inc. Colle+McVoy previously handled the account. The Austin-based agency will develop a national media plan to support the ice cream brand’s relaunch. First work is expected to break in Q1 2016 and will include national and local television, magazine, out-of-home, digital and SEM elements. Read more here.

Blue Bunny Ice Cream appointed Omnicom-owned, Austin-based agency GSD&M as its lead media agency following a review, Adweek reports. GSD&M takes over for Colle+McVoy and will be responsible for media strategy, buying and planning.

Blue Bunny vice president of marketing Adam Baumgartner cited the agency’s “attention to detail in the planning process coupled with their strategic leadership in media plan development” as the impetus for the decision. Read more here.

Blue Bunny Ice Cream plans a rebranding push this year, and has chosen GSD&M as its lead media partner following a review.

The Texas-based Omnicom agency will handle strategy, buying and planning. Previously, those chores were with Colle+McVoy.

Adam Baumgartner, Blue Bunny’s vice president of marketing, said GSD&M’s “attention to detail in the planning process coupled with their strategic leadership in media plan development” impressed decision makers during the agency selection process. Read more here.
