We love Hut’s, and not just because it’s right across 6th Street from our office. You always know what you’re getting when you walk into Hut’s: friendly service, casual vibes, and reliable burgers as simple or complex as you want.

Our Pick: Fats Domino Burger (jalapeños, cheddar, & New Orleans spices) with a side of fried okra.

This place is notorious for having the best burger on Dirty Sixth Street, the stretch of bars on 6th between I-35 and Congress. No matter if it’s lunchtime, dinnertime, or late night, the burgers will be big and bold and the beer will be flowing.

Our Pick: Buffalo Burger (house-made wing sauce and bleu cheese) and Verde Cheese Fries (tomatillo salsa and melted cheese).
